WHAT WON'T THIS VEST PROTECT YOU FROM?
The soft body armor vest is rated for 3A (IIIA). That means it will stop everything from 9mm, .22L, .44 Magnum to 12-gauge slugs. If you want to stop assault rifles you should add one or two of our level 4 (IV) or level 3 (III) hard armor insert plates.
CAN I UPGRADE MY VEST'S PROTECTION LEVEL?
This vest is expandable with plates reaching up to NIJ levels III and IV. Even after multiple hits, NIJ Levels III and IV block bullets from rifles like the AR-15 or AK-57. You can unlock rifle and API resistance by combining your armor with a level III or IV plate.

HOW DO YOU TEST LEVEL IIIA ARMOR?
We test each type of armor beyond what the NIJ requires. Rather than one bullet, we fire multiple rounds from multiple handguns into our Level IIIA concealable vests. We also test against shotguns to ensure a full scope of coverage against short-range weapons. These vests withstand consecutive impacts from handguns and shotguns.
WHAT BULLETPROOF PLATES CAN BE ADDED TO THIS VEST?
This ballistic vest allows for level 3 and 4 armor inserts. They can be inserted into the bottom of the vest via an easy-access Velcro pouch. Our level 3 and 4 inserts block a wide variety of common pistol, rifle, and even sniper calibers including 5.56 NATO, 7.62, .308, .30-06, and more.
WHAT DOES THIS SOFT ARMOR COMPARE TO?
This vest is equal to other police and military IIIA bulletproof products. This bulletproof vest is better than level 2 (II), 2A (IIA) and lower levels.
WHO CAN BUY A BULLETPROOF VEST FROM US?
Almost anyone can purchase a bulletproof vest in the USA, Canada and other countries. Civilians in the U.S. state of Connecticut are the only people who automatically can’t. Connecticut customers need to have a different billing/shipping location for the order.
ARE BULLETPROOF VESTS ILLEGAL OR LEGAL?
The short answer — they are legal. However, if you are a convicted felon you cannot own or use body armor. This applies to every U.S. state.
The longer answer — Level IIIA body armor is legal for any U.S. citizen over 18 who hasn’t committed a felony. You can wear this armor under your clothing nearly anywhere you go as long as the building manager permits it on the property. These vests are also legal to wear in airports and pack in your luggage. We recommend calling any building or airport ahead of time to verify their body armor policies.
WHAT IS THIS SOFT BODY ARMOR MADE FROM?
We make these vests with DuPont or PE (UHMWPE). All vests come with our upgraded PE to ensure the armor is concealable under clothing like t-shirts, jackets and more.

The vest fits well after making some adjustments and is a good value for purchase. I’m a former law enforcement officer and now a current armed security officer. I wear a vest every day for safety. So far, the vest works well. I will continue to evaluate the vest.

The most comfortable one that I have tried to date. Adjustments on the Large size made it so both my wife and I could wear the same size vest even though our sizes are far from the same.
I really like the vest. I;ve been using it off and on with my duty vest and prefer this one. Its thinner, lighter, and have the ventilation that I wanted.
Very happy with it. Stopped 9mm hollowpoints and 12 guage slugs. Cant imagine actually getting hit with a slug.
