This bulletproof backpack panel transforms any backpack into a bulletproof backpack. It provides NIJ level IIIA protection, which means it will stop almost all handgun rounds including a .44 Magnum. The BulletSafe bulletproof backpack panel is lightweight, flexible, washable, and durable. It is guaranteed to stop bullets for at least 5 years. These panels are also great for travel bags, bug out bags, and shooting range bags.
This bulletproof backpack panel transforms any backpack into a bulletproof backpack. You can also use it in a briefcase, laptop bag, or shooter’s bag. This versatile bulletproof panel uses the same ballistic materials as our bulletproof vest. Place it inside a backpack, briefcase, bug-out bag or even a purse. It provides NIJ level IIIA protection, which means it will stop almost all handgun rounds including a .44 Magnum. One significant advantage to using the insertable bulletproof panel vs. buying a brand new bulletproof backpack is that typical backpacks wear out every year. With a dedicated backpack vs. our panel you would need to buy an entire new bag each year, in addition to having limited styles to choose from. Our panels work in ALL backpacks and will be indistinguishable from a regular backpack.
Our bulletproof backpack panel measures 10 inches by 14 inches and weighs just 24 ounces (1.5 lbs). It is flexible and lightweight.
The BulletSafe Bulletproof Backpack panel is durable and washable. Unlike other bulletproof panels, ours is enclosed in a 600 denier polyester carrier. This carrier provides a tough outer shell so that you don’t have to worry about your kids damaging it while carrying other items in their backpack. You can remove the shell and wash it as well. Whether they are carrying screwdrivers or snakes, our bulletproof backpack panel will last for 5 years.
Here is why you should choose a bulletproof backpack panel instead of bulletproof backpack. Our panel is guaranteed to stop bullets for at least 5 years. That is longer than a kid’s backpack will last. It is a mistake to buy a bulletproof backpack, because once the backpack is worn or torn you can no longer use it. If you buy a bulletproof panel like this one, you can move the panel from backpack to backpack for years. A kid can use it in their Pikachu backpack, then their high school backpack, then even use it in college in their computer bag.
Our bulletproof backpack panel’s unique outer casing is also washable. Anyone with kids knows that their backpack isn’t always clean, so our backpack panel can get dirty and then be laundered. To clean it, just remove the outer casing and put that in the wash. The BulletSafe bulletproof backpack panel is rugged enough for everyday use and will last for 5 years, longer than a single backpack.
Originally, the BulletSafe Bulletproof Backpack Panel was designed by our company President for his children’s backpacks. Our company then launched a successful Indiegogo campaign and the public responded. People wanted the opportunity to buy a bulletproof panel at a reasonable price and our panel offered additional features (washability, durability) that help it survive in a kid’s backpack. Here is the video from that campaign featuring the Nardone family.
Since the success of that campaign, our panel is now available to everyone. Like our vest, the BulletSafe Backpack Panel is priced so that anyone can afford ballistic protection.
I bought mine years ago and it is still in great condition. I have gone through airport security all over the world and they have never even mentioned it was there. You really do not notice it as it tucks nicely in my backpacks. I like also I can switch around what back pack I want it in. I feel safer as you never know where something is going to happen. I have been trying to figure out how to wear one on front and back. (Maybe two backpacks? One worn on front, lol) I am buying two more now. One for my grandson and a backup for me. These are light weight and every time (daily) I see another shooting on television, I remind myself not to go out with out it. Thank you for making this product.
I've bought 4 for my grand kids. This is the second year they will have them in their backpack. My grandsons when though 2 backpack each last year and the panel are still in great shape.
I bought 7 of these for my grand kids and wife, they are installed in backpacks and my wife’s briefcase, kids all know to run like H E L L from danger wife could be stuck in her office Also bought 2 of the vests, great product at super price
We just got our BulletSafe Backpack Panels delivered today and my kids and I are very impressed! It is a lot lighter and more flexible than I expected and a bit larger too (in a good way). I hope they will never need to depend on a product like this to save their lives, but it brings me comfort to know I've at least given them a chance to survive if need be. I love the fact that this product will never expire and it will last them for the rest of their school career. This could be the best school gear I've ever bought for $100! Thanks for making a product like this. I will recommend it to all my friends!
I work in an office where a gun was pulled in the past. Thank goodness that was a long time ago and the firearm was never discharged. We do, however, continue work in a high stress environment. This panel resides in my soft briefcase and is with me almost all of the time. This case accompanies me to and from work, as well as to multiple work-sites throughout the day. It is light and unobtrusive. It neatly fits into one of the pockets in my soft case. I have to remind myself it's even in there. It's great to have the additional peace of mind knowing I can act with added protection for myself and my office staff should anything terrible ever happen again.
The world has gone crazy. No, not the world, just the good old USA. Crazy people are kept out in society with the rest of us, including our kids, and we are left to try to protect our families. It is nuts. We need to start locking some of these folks up, but we aren't, so here I am guying my kid a bulletproof backpack panel. What the hell is going on here?
Sometimes you have to let them leave the nest, but my kid decided that going to school in Atlanta was going to be a good idea. Well, she is taking a bulletproof backpack with her. I bought it more for me and my wife, but the kid has to use it. I was surprised when it arrived at how light it was. I was expecting something more like a hunk of steel, but this was flexible, more like a magazine.
