Last year I spent some time, and a lot of money, making sure that I was as prepared as possible with my budget. There were a few things that never occurred to me, one being my hands. It has been a few decades since I was in an actual fight/ altercation, but I do remember that my hands probably took the longest to heal. Since we use our hands a lot in everyday life I thought it best to get the best protection possible within my budget. I have not punched anything except my own hands but these gloves would have made a huge difference back in the day. The high level of cut resistance is extremely important as well. You never know what is coming down the pipe, but with all the equipment I have purchased from A.D I know that I have increased my survivability. I may even get a spare pair just in case, very sturdy and functional gloves with above board protection.
